Spain-the World's Most Exquisite Wedding Dress

Spanish attach much attention on the wedding dresses than the rest places in the world. And they lead the designing style of the wedding dress trend around the world. In Spain, every year there are lots of large-scale exhibition of the wedding dresses and the design exhibition. In 2003, only the PLATCHI company wedding dresses sale profit surpass 100 million euros. 206,254 pairs of men and women married in 2001 who spend 1.5 billion euros on buying wedding dresses altogether. The wedding dresses made by Spain usually export to German, Italy, America and England. And the density of wedding dresses shops is the highest in the world, almost per 100,000 people have a bridal shop.

Spanish wedding dresses change a lot with different times. In the Medieval time, just like other countries, the red dress is the most fashionable in the aristocratic class for red represents power. The daughter of Henry VI Fei Liba wore the white wedding dress the first time in 1406. But when the white wedding dresses came into vogue is in 1840, on the wedding ceremony of  the future Britain's Queen Victoria who also wore a white veil that time. The common color are black and other deep dark colors. Today, the main color become white and ivory. And the most interesting thing is the chic bride's crown. It is said the bride's crown is weaved by the root, leaves of trees and the grass-roots long long ago. Later, it turned to the black wheat straw, myrtle, olive branches, and flower bouquets.

The Spanish follows its tradition that the female stand by the left of the male in the wedding ceremony. It is because in the war time, men usually carry their guns on the right should, if the bride stand by his right, it would not be easy for the man to move and make his counter-back.

Awwwww, pretty in pink. I love this bridal dress already, I don't need to look at the details, that's what visual marketing does to consumers. I am slready sold, just looking at the photos. You can always count on Badgley Mischka to bring the glamour, and this designer duo’s Spring 2013 collection certainly didn’t disappoint. Sexy and slinky slip dresses look red-carpet-ready, while tiers of tulle and lace (with pretty beaded detailing) are classically bridal with a fashionable twist. As a fresh alternative to strapless, I love the beautiful bejeweled cap sleeves that were seen on both a full ballgown silhouette and a sleek sheath....so dreamy. And before I foget, I also love the head piece :-)

Spring 2013 Oscar de la Renta Bridal Gowns

Oscar de la Renta started and ended his Spring 2013 bridal show with striking red dresses, but the looks that came between them hewed to traditional shades of white.

Whether starting and ending with a flash of fire was a way to awaken the audience's senses or an appeal to a different customer wasn't clear — the white dresses that made up the bulk of the show were just as powerful. They were by turns festooned with jeweled accents, draped simply, and covered with intricate lace overlays. Like his ready-to-wear collections, de la Renta's bridal gowns spoke to a wide variety of modern women — and to modern little girls, too. Several of the dresses came down the aisle preceded by flower girls wearing younger versions of the grown-up gowns.

2013 Pronovias Fashion Bridal Show

The magic of a Pronovias bridal fashion show really is a must see for the fashionista in all of us. 1,800-plus guests all waited in the Oval Room of the National Art Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona to witness the Pronovias 2013 collections. Featuring Pronovias by Manuel Mota, Pronovias Barcelona, and Pronovias by Elie Saab.

The theme of the show was“Le Jardin des Rêves,”(The Garden of Dreams). Behind the catwalk was a large backdrop representing a greenhouse and one by one the models came out  in some of the most exquisite wedding dresses we have ever seen. Each representing the flowers of a greenhouse. You can get a better picture by watching the video below.

Around 80 dresses sauntered down the runway in every wedding gown style imaginable. Bursting with floral motifs, ranging from voluminous romantic, to cosmopolitan all the way down to the unique rose dress above.
